With a candle wick trimmer, you'll extend the life of your candle, providing more light or fragrance for your home. They're an indispensable tool to keep your candles burning bright as regular trimming ensures the candle burns evenly, cleanly and longer. It also helps prevent soot from forming on the glass. This wick trimmer is made of gold-plated stainless steel, measuring 18 cm long so it can reach even the deepest of wicks. Place the handle of the trimmer on the edge of the candle, let the nose of the snuffer rest on the surface of the candle. Bring the two handles together to trim the wick, leaving about 5mm. When trimming, always extinguish the flame, let the candle cool down to room temperature, remove any wick debris and trim the wick before relighting. Always make sure the wick is upright and centered.
